| More often than
not general contractors are using only Underwriters
Laboratory approved products. Local inspectors often will not
certify occupancy if the low voltage devices are not UL approved.
PTI bears the UL listing on its products and will continue to have
all newly developed security devices go through the UL testing to
insure the confidence of our customers and local officials.
PTI products bear the UL294 certification for Access Control System Units from Underwriters Laboratory and the CE international certification. While our competitors have none or some of their security devices certified, PTI's entire Falcon Access Control System is UL certified and tested. PTI's products undergo the stringent testing through certified Underwriter Laboratory Inspectors to obtain this certification. The testing was done by Intertek Testing Services (ITS) ETL SEMKO.
